The beauty of a woman must be seen from in her eyes, because that is the doorway to her heart, the place where love resides.
~Audrey Hepburn

Hello friends! Thank you so much for taking the time to visit my blogsite and learn a bit more about what I do.

You may have heard of Boudoir Photography in the past, you may have even formed an opinion about this intimate portrait genre, but allow me to talk a bit about what Boudoir is to me, and what it is not.

By Definition Boudoir just refers to a woman’s private room, it could be a bedroom but was typically, in the past, a sort of  dressing and sitting room.

My vision is simple, to be true to who my clients really are. You will not find overly retouched “plastic” images in my portfolio, nor will you find digitally enhanced female figures, that’s not what I do. I believe that every woman is a work of art, a unique and beautiful individual made with love by her Creator, and our goal is to help her see that about herself and share that with her beloved. My Boudoir photography is focused on the idea of capturing a glimpse of the spirit of a woman, seeing into her inner self and revealing that special spark, her strength, quiet confidence, unique allure and the very essence of who she is. To me boudoir photography is not just simply about wearing sexy lingerie and posing provocatively, in fact I prefer to photograph my clients in simple and understated clothing such as an oversized loose-knit sweater or a sheer lacy top over bra and panties, flowing tank tops or simply a favorite shirt of her husbands. To me it’s about the story being told, the woman who is being celebrated as a singularly precious and beautiful gem.

My goal is to help women to express themselves, to feel confident, powerful, feminine and beautiful. I intend for the images to be used to strengthen marriages. It’s about giving husbands a collection of artistic and lovely images of their beloved that can replace the mental images captured every day in our sex-saturated society; and it’s also about giving wives a boost in their self-worth and help them to realize what a treasure they are. There is nothing more alluring to a husband than his lovely wife filled with self confidence and secure in the knowledge that she is the only one he wants.

My vision is to work primarily with married and engaged women, and to produce classy, tasteful and evocative images. I have made a choice to decline to photograph full nudity, which I feel is not necessary to convey true beauty. Whether you are a new bride who wants to give your future husband a gift he will always treasure, or a wife and mom of three who feels like she has lost herself in the roles she has chosen and the joyful but trying tasks of everyday life, boudoir photography is for you. Every woman deserves to see herself the way her love sees her, let me help you to open your eyes and see yourself in that same light!

    Hi there,

I was interested in purchasing a photography package off, I just have a few questions though.

    1. Where do you shoot from? Is it in a studio?
    2. My significant other is away on deployment. I was planning on getting some vintage-classy inspired photos for him, however, we are not married (yet) nor are we engaged just yet. I don’t know if that would be a problem. I see you are a Christian, I am a Catholic myself.

    Thank you in advance,
    Tracy ReganReplyCancel
